I purchased a Ducati Panigale V2 Troy Bayliss dition in March of 2023 and the experience was by far the best motorcycle purchase experience to date. At the time of purchase, the 2023 bikes had yet to arrive at most Ducati dealerships and I was being given the run around both for availability and price. I was about to give up on purchasing this bike as I was rather discontent with the treatment I was getting from sales representatives at various Ducati dealers in both Montreal and Toronto. Yes, I was willing to go out of my market zone to obtain this bike. Decided to drop in at Powersports Canada simply to look at bikes and ponder what to do next: give up or try again. I spoke with Mike Parker, the Sales Manager, and explained the situation. He listened and tried to help by checking if and when the bikes were to be available. No pressure, no fabricated story as to why they were so rare, etc. Turns out these bikes were on their way from Ducati and would be imminently available. Returned to Powersports Canada the next week and sat down to negotiate a mutually acceptable deal with Mike. Dealing with Mike turned out to make this the best motorcycle purchase experience I ever had. And the first bike I purchased new in Ottawa in 20 years. I am not afraid to go and purchase out of town if I feel I am not being taken seriously. Mike was super respectful and made this purchase a pleasure and I am more than happy to have been able to support my local Ottawa Ducati dealership. Obtaining accessories for the bike from the parts department and dealing with Joel was equally pleasant. I have no hesitation recommending this dealership and will not hesitate to deal with them again in the future if and when I decide that I want a new motorcycle. For anyone looking to purchase a Ducati, Powersports Canada in Ottawa is well worth considering. I give them 5 stars out of 5!

Good bike shop ! Other bike shops in town refused to even look at my 40 yr old Honda Sabre. It needed a complete carb cleaning & synchro plus safety check after sitting for a couple years. Corey at the service desk has been flexible and accommodating; providing me with parts diagrams and leads on hard to find parts that are no longer available from Honda nor 3rd party suppliers. He has been a reliable source of realistic advice working with me to get this antique safe and back on the road. Corey does things A-Z presenting options as necessary. The Powersports shop mechanic, specifically Kirk,is not just a parts changer, he is the real thing familiar with complex carburetor synchronizing and diagnostics. Kirk is willing to dig deep to work out a solution.

Mike Parker was my sales representative. Very professional, knowledgeable, honest and he made the whole transaction very comfortable, especially dealing from a long distance. The bike came certified with a fresh service however it was disappointing to have discovered several items upon getting home. The fresh oil change was set at the incorrect level which needed to be adjusted before my first long ride, oil residual on the pipes and undercarriage of the bike, the + and - battery terminals were loose! And the coolant was well below the minimum level. Hopefully better care is provided by the service department in the future however this was my experience. All in all the dealership scores high points due to having dealt with Mike Parker. Thank you

I was out on a cruise when my bike started using oil. No observable leaks, no exhaust smoke, no blow back through the carbs. Never happened before and the bike was running well - no misses. I headed back into town and stop at Powersports. No appointment and during lunch but the service guy and a mechanic came out to take a look within moments. They confirmed what I had already figured but quickly traced a small leak to a bolt of the head of the number one cylinder. Tightened the bolt, sprayed the head clean and ran a test - no leak. 5 minute fix, no charge. A huge thank-you to Kirk and Tyler for all their help. Outstanding service !!

On Saturday, May 8 2021, my wife and I made an appointment with Karen Fahey in Accessories at the PowerSports Canada location in Ottawa (1 Laser Street) to be fitted for helmets and jackets. It has been close to 40 years since I have ridden a bike and so Karen treated both of us with amazing customer service, patience and confidence in the product. She devoted almost 3 hours of her time to making sure we had the right product for our body types and helmets that fitted perfectly. She answered all of our questions and more. Even recognizing that her birthday was the next day, (Mother's Day), the staff took time to wish her a Happy Birthday and celebrate with cake - she even offered us cake!!!! I recently brought my Yamaha FJR for 2recalls . I was a bit apprehensive as the recall required a major repair and replacement of the gear assembly. Tried to buy $80 worth of parts for a Goldwing. I called to confirm the order and pay via credit card. A very RUDE parts employee advised me that he couldn't accept credit card info via telephone and that in order to 'place' my order I'd have to drive 30 minutes from home to physically use my credit card, then the order would be placed. I'd have to return to the store for pickup... Absolutely ludicrous requirement in this day and age of Covid.

I shoud have been able to pay via telephone and just make the one trip.Asking Management to fix this requirement as I'd really like to support small business.MP

My son is 11 years old and saved his money for years to buy a dirt bike, two weeks ago we made (what he now understand to be the wrong) decision to buy from Kanata Honda - yesterday there we observed a problem with the tire of the bike - After being routed around we spoke to the original sales person who was rude, and told us that they would not fix the bike for over a month. I puchased a Vstar 650 in the spring of 2014. Dominic was my sales man. Staff were excellent to deal with. Very knowledgeable but not pushy. My wife dealt with the parts department to have a windscreen installed prior to pick up. Everything was perfect. When I picked up the bike I noticed a scratch on the wind screen. No issue.. it was replaced at no charge. I have had two service intervals at Ottawa Powersports. Both times I have received top notch service and staff are always helpful. I just completed my 7000 km service and dropped the bike off at 8am. I expected to leave the bike and pick it up the next day. Instead the crew at Powersports serviced the bike that day and saved me a trip down from Pembroke. That is thanks to Olivia and Andre in service. Karen and I enjoyed our first long tour together this past July. Twenty days from Hamilton to the Cabot Trail and back through Ottawa enroute to Manitoulin Island, The Chi-Cheemaun Ferry, and home. The 2005 ST 1300, my first bike, performed flawlessly! Except I should have added a couple of pounds of pressure to the rear tire to accommodate riding two up and having heavier than usual baggage. Consequently, just outside Rutland, Vermont, we noticed part of the shoulder of the rear tire had worn to the sub-tread belt. Saturday afternoon; nowhere to go! We limped 5 hours through the pouring rain to Ottawa the next day, taking it easy on the turns and praying out loud. The manager at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, an avid biker himself, said he knew a place that would take care of us. He called Powersports Canada that day and was assured they could replace the tire. When I spoke with Olivia in the service department the next morning, I was advised simply to park the ST in front of the hotel, not to worry about a thing, and enjoy my day in our capital city; they would take care of the rest. When I returned after supper with good friends later that day, the bike was parked where I had left it with a new tire. I was overwhelmed at the promptness with which our emergency was handled and the courteous, friendly rapport with Olivia on the phone. My only regret was not actually meeting any of this amazing Powersports team. But I did promise that, should I ever trade up to a Goldwing, Powersports Canada would get my business even if it meant a six hour drive from Dundas. And thats just what happened this past weekend. After fruitful and fair negotiations with Greg about a trade in value on the ST, a conversation with Dominik about financing that was sensitive to my situation, Karen and I headed up to Ottawa with great excitement. We were greeted as though the Powersports team had been expecting us: friendly smiles, cheerful chatter, hot coffee, warm handshakes! We felt as though we were their only customers. Trevor at the parts desk (lived for a while in my hometown; its a small world after all!), was equally helpful in ordering the intercom system which would be shipped to Dundas at no extra charge. Liam was patient in acquainting me with the bike itself and, as the day was chilly, had the grips and seats, especially Karens, already warmed up. We may live 500 km away from this dealership, but they will always get my business whether its ordering accessories or driving to Ottawa to have them service the Wing. I grew up in a small family business where personal service was paramount. Sometimes my cynicism suggests its a thing of the past. Well, not so at Powersports Canada. Thank you! Not only are Karen and I enjoying a great motorcycle in the Goldwing, we enjoyed a great experience dealing with all of you! Keep up the fine work! Youre a credit to Honda and to Ottawa! More kudos for Powersports. We were headed to 1000 Islands for a ride on the Wing and notice a bold that held the fender on was missing. Unfortunately the parts dept didn't have a bolt to buy. The service dept was closed but after checking one of the guys found a bolt came out with his impact wrench and put it on for us. How much you ask. Nothing. Nada. Thanks so much guys

We had recently upgraded from a Suzuki Boulevard C50 to a Honda Gold Wing. Problem was I was taking my M2 Exit course after the purchase of the Wing. Too good a deal to pass up. That being said I didn't want to show up on a wing, even though I have driven quite a bit. Without hesitation the folks from Powersports offered me a 2008 Honda Shadow for the weekend. Quick not of appreciation for service I received recently. My Yamaha 125 was brought in for work on the carb/gas tank on a Monday. When I phoned about the status of work on Friday I was told no parts had arrived and I would have to wait. I was not happy, and expressed it strongly. The service rep who was helping me (Olivia) kept her cool, was clear and helpful. She said she would try to do something, and did. My bike was ready that day at about 5:45. She, the mechanic(s) and the gentleman at the service desk who explained the work put some extra efforts in. It was really refreshing. Thanks!

I recently purchased a new Yamaha Super Tenere ES from this company plus a pile of accessories in preparation for some grand touring. I was exceptionally pleased with the negotiating process as well as PowerSport's ability to certify/repair my older BMW for a successful private sale after the fact. Hello everyone on laser street, bet you taught I had forgotten.. Well folks here is my story of our experience at Honda Power sports at 1 laser rd , in Ottawa. First let me start with a bit of my history , so you know where I stand... When I was 5 years old my Mechanic Dad gave me a cleaned carburetor on a piece of newsprint and a screwdriver to play with, I grew up knowing and fixing cars bikes trailers and anything which had wheels or tracks, I spent my summers riding horses and ponies, while de-branching trees we cut down to make 4 foot logs to dump into the Gatineau River, during the 70's. I was 11 when I ran my first Johsered chainsaw, there now I dated myself as well. I was 11 when I rode my first Motorcycle, Skidoo as the driver on a regular basis. It is my habit to distrust car dealers, or dealers of anything which has a motor. My sweet lady decided she would ride the motorcycle with me, after 20 years and the smaller bikes I used all my life were...well to small, we needed a touring model, so a shopping we went. Every dealer we went to was the same story, they knew what we needed and would sell us just that, well the expected was occurring all the time, we shopped for 4 months, the entire summer of 2011, then we stopped into Power sports, and their approach was weird, and unexpected.. I don't know if it was cause it was starting to rain or cause it was within an hour of closing time, but we were talked tooo NOT AT? we were treated like lookers not.... I will sell you something buyers.. truly it was weird? We ended up buying a used Yamaha Venture Midnight edition 2005, and it was a good experience unexpectedly, it took a few days longer than expected to get the bike as they needed to replace the front brakes...that surprised me, as they did not try to say some BS and try to make us pay for the brakes? But then the real shocker happened, 4 days after riding the bike off the lot, I noticed that the rear air shock had completely failed and was leaking oil and such, well thinking I was in for a wicked battle, I went back to Powersports, and showed it to them. They looked at it and said it was dead, and needed to be replace, and I said replace it... In the back of my head I was thinking... They will try to make me pay for this, I have a big battle coming over this? The shock was $700.00 + Labour + Taxes +++ well over $1000.00 It took a week for them to get the shock in, exactly the amount of time they said it would take ! They took 3 hrs or so to replace the shock and when they brought the bill out for me to sign, I almost fell right the hell down, it had $0.00 due... The manager had told me they would try to get it warranted, but I never expected them to be decent about this... They never even hinted at trying to stick this up our ...hummmm or down our throat.... With this note I am doing something I would have bet my house I would have never done, I am saying that powersports is different, You want a bike or snow, or 4 wheller, well get the customer service, the right customer service, cause from every single person at the Service desk I met, or the Parts counter or the Repair shop, or the sales floor, all the FRAKING way through, I was made to feel like a customer they wanted to help, and most of that was after they had my check.. Go figure, I can still be surprised. To each and everyone at powersports from Ron and Sue...Thank You, and you will see us again many times... You guys and gals did great, with a style I did not ever believe I would ever experience.. Still shocked Ron W.

I bought a 2007 CBR 125r from this dealership and they were very helpful and friendly. They don't pressure you which is nice to have a relaxed feeling. They order parts in within a day or two which is very impressive. Powersports also has lots of inventory for accessories to pick from to fit your bike and style. Overall was a great experience and I plan to keep with Honda bikes for the future.

I drove 4.5 hours one way to buy a bike sight unseen after the local dealership wouldnt deal at all. The bike was exactly as described. Adam Asiri was easy to get along with and made the whole thing quick and easy. I'll make that drive again when the time is right!

Drove around one Sunday wanting to get back in the saddle after 20 yrs. Found Power Sports, bought my Shadow. Second summer now, I have had a VTX1300 and now own an ST1300A. Guys have been terrific in dealing with any problems. Always feel as part of the 'team' when I drop by. Who knows; next a big cruiser?...eh Adam????

Powersports has helped my wife and I through several purchases without a hitch. The sales staff knowledge is an obvious reflection of the managment at the shop. There service department is always helpfull and cooperative. The parts department mangaer has trained his staff to be helpfull and always cheerful. No matter the occasion to stop in at this shop it is always a pleasure. This has got to be the best Motorcycel shop in the city hands down.

After shopping at many other dealerships in Ottawa i found Powersports Canada to have the most knowlegable staff, service, and parts department in the city.
